I had a great time playing with Sean, Sara, and all The Humans New Year's Eve in Knxoville! What a great honor, and a fantastic evening of music, fun, and fire!

I'm excited about the several dates and states this spring and summer: Sundown in the City; Dick Butt Kiss goes to Knoxville; The Bearded in Carolina Beach.

First, I've been having way fun with Dick Butt Kiss & the Tightends, especially now that I'm one of them.
Dorothy was divine.

Pennsylvania was so fun, I even drank a few beers.

Yes, it's true, I'm playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Nas, a fine Halloween play written, sung, and performed by Dick Butt Kiss & The Tightends.

Wow! Thirteen gigs in three days! Lots of lovely Lonetones. Singing with Sean. Banging with the Bearded. Jassin' with the Schwabes. Stopping the bomb with Ganasita and Orepa. Loving on Tom at the Grotto. Buddha with RB.
All good stuff, the way it should be.

I had a great time last night listening to Martha Bassett, a fine song-writer, and gorgeous singer, out of NC.

Hey folks,

I've been running the board Thursday mornings at WRIR, Richmond's independent radio station. It's a great radio station, and can be heard on the web. I don't talk much, but when I do, it's very good.

Nosfreratu, the KMA, Logan's artwork . . . yes, Tennessee is still a fine, fine place. But I have to say that the Marriage of RB and Carly was the finest evening around.

Congratulations!

I had a great time playing some songs with Christabel & the Jons last Friday. Not to mention the Bitties were way killer.

What a great last week in Knoxville it was!

The Blue Plate was so fun, just being able to listen to all those folks would be great, but to play with them . . . it's hard to describe.

And Carpe Librum: just go tell Sheila she's the greatest, then buy like eight books. It was by far the best place to do a last show.

It's true, I'm working (and by that I mean Sean is working) on putting together a compilation of music I made alone and with others while here in Knoxville. The goal is to have it by the Blue Plate Special.

The last Humans show was incredible, yet actual.

Keep in mind, that it's not really the last - we'll be back to Knoxville in October.

What a fun time I had out at First Baptist Church in Farragut!

I had a busy, but nice, time leading drum workshops at Dogwood Elementary school this week. Thanks to Tina and Jennifer for making it happen.

This weekend and next, I'll be playing the percussion for TN Valley Players' production of Nunsensational!

It will be presented in downtown Knoxville at St. John's Cathedral.
